Health & Wellness

"Striving for wellness of mind and body” is one of the primary characteristics Fordham Prep seeks to cultivate in its students.  Mental health and wellness is supported and developed in a variety of ways by the school counseling and clinical teams.  The school counselors and clinicians strive to educate students on various aspects of mental health and well-being and support their needs in these areas.  Also, they work to identify and intervene with mental health and/or learning challenges and work with families to connect with outside professionals when needed.  Lastly, Fordham Prep provides education, programs, activities and resources to support the mental health and well-being of parents/caregivers, faculty and staff.

"During my time at school, I have realized the importance of self-care.  I realized this with the help of my friends, family and guidance classes.  It can be stressful to be a student, so mental health is a priority that I have learned to acknowledge.  This realization has allowed me to become a healthier, happier person."
Member, Class of 2024"It is great to slow down and recharge."
Member, Class of 2025"I am striving to mold myself into a healthier and stronger man.  I meditate at the end of every day as a 'cool-down' before I start my homework."
