St. Ignatius School, Rwanda
During this program, students will spend time on a collaborative retreat experience with Boston College High School and St. Ignatius students, stay with host families while attending daily classes, tour the city of Kilgali and have an opportunity to participate in a gorilla trekking or safari experience. Focusing on spiritual, academic and personal growth, students will be asked to step out of their comfort zones and truly embrace everything the culture of Rwanda has to offer.

Grade Level: Current sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply.
Host Family Experience: Because cultural immersion is such an important part of an exchange program and in an effort to keep costs reasonable, students will stay with host families during this exchange program.

Program Cost: approx. $$2800-$3200 (not including airfare)
Cost includes tuition, board, meals, travel within Rwanda and activity fees. Expenses that are not included are arirfare and personal items and services such as passport fees, phone calls and personal spending money. Final cost is determined by number of participants. Limited financial assistance is available.
