Elephant Conservation and Ecology- Thailand
Students will travel throughout Thailand, seeing the sights of Bangkok and participating in hands-on science research and conservation work with elephants. Participants will visit Sai Yok and Kui Buri National Parks, as well as travel to Kanchanaburi Province where they will go on safari and work hands on at an elephant sanctuary. Students will complete service projects, visit a local school, spend a night camping on a houseboat, and spend a night in a homestay community. Partner organization include: Smithsonian, Bring the Elephant Home, Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, Salakpra Wildlife Sanctuary, Burm and Emily's Elephant Sanctuary and the Thai Elephant Conservation Center.

Service Hours: Juniors and seniors are credited with 10 service hours toward their Christian Service requirement
