Lacrosse History at Fordham Prep

Fordham Preparatory School has a very proud tradition when it comes to lacrosse. Fordham Prep has always been one of the top lacrosse programs in the NYC Catholic High School League. The program was started in 1989. It was not until 1993 that the Rams won their first city championship. From 1993 to 2003, the Rams would roll and win an impressive 11 straight city championships. Overall, Fordham Prep has won 15 city championships, the most recent coming in 2013.

 In our historic 26 year existence, our players have achieved the highest awards in the CHSAA and in the United States. Fordham Prep lacrosse has been awarded with 19 All-Americans. Over the years, numerous players have gone to college to play lacrosse.
