Program Description: This program offers participants the opportunity to engage with Costa Rica's immense biodiversity. While at a local filed station participants will monitor the beach, guided by trained research assistants, to collect data on sea turtles and develop a field-based research project. Participants will also explore the rain forest, home to howler monkeys, sloths, toucans, iguanas, and a host of other species. Opportunities are also available to interact with local high school students and try local cuisine.

Program Cost: approx. $3400-3700 (includes, lodging, on country transportation and most meals. Airfare not included (estimated $700-1200). Limited financial aid is available through the application process.
