Class Schedule
Classes will meet at Fordham Prep from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.
All students will take the practice test. The following dates are set barring any significant changes made to the Fordham Prep calendar.
CLASSES WILL ONLY RUN IF A MINIMUM OF TEN STUDENTS ARE REGISTERED!
SAT Test Prep Session 1 (SAT October 7th, 2023)
September 25th - September 29th & October 2nd - October 6th
ACT Test Prep Session 1 (ACT December 9th, 2023)
November 27th - December 1st & December 4th - December 8th
SAT Test Prep Session 2 (SAT March 9th, 2024)
February 26th - March 1st & March 4th - March 8th.
ACT Test Prep Session 2 (ACT June 8th, 2024)
May 13th - May 17th & May 20th - May 23rd.

How often does Fordham Prep offer standardized test prep courses?
2018-19 was the pilot year for PREPare Test Prep. Classes are offered several times throughout the year. Courses for the SAT and ACT align with the SAT and ACT test dates scheduled by the CollegeBoard and ACT Inc.
Who is eligible to take the courses?
PREPare Test Prep courses are exclusively offered to Fordham Prep students only. Register as soon as possible, as we anticipate a significant response for this opportunity run by Prep faculty and staff. Financial Aid is available for students and payment should not deter students from signing up for the class. If you require financial aid please email prepare@fordhamprep.org
What does Fordham Prep’s standardized test prep courses entail?
Fordham Prep’s PREPare course teaches students strategies for each portion of the SAT and ACT. Students begin the course by taking a diagnostic test which was designed to see where students currently are in terms of understanding. Students will use questions from past SATs and ACTs throughout the length of the course. Students also learn the format of the test and grading.
When is the best time to take the SAT or ACT?
Students at Fordham Prep are encouraged to take the SAT or ACT no later than the end of their junior year. Taking it by the end of the junior year allows a student time to retake it if he wants to get a higher score. At the end of the year a student will also have just completed another year of English and Math, which will help on the SAT or ACT.
Registration for the PREPare test prep classes does not register students of the actual SAT or ACT. Students need to register for their desired test date through Collegeboard.
