Campus Ministry nurtures the spiritual life of our school community through prayer, worship, retreats, service, and reflection.
Inspired by the Jesuit tradition, we accompany students as they deepen their relationship with God, discern their gifts, and grow into compassionate leaders dedicated to faith, justice, and service.
Liturgical Life
At Fordham Prep, our liturgical life is the heart of our Catholic identity, bringing our community together in prayer, worship, and reflection throughout the year.
Morning Prayer
Each school day begins with a prayer led by a student, faculty, or staff member over the loudspeaker. Whether traditional or original, these prayers invite our community to begin the day with gratitude and purpose. Every Friday, the entire school prays the Ignatian Examen, reflecting on God's presence in their lives.
School Liturgies
Our community gathers regularly to celebrate the Eucharist throughout the school year. Each Mass is thoughtfully planned by a Liturgy Committee composed of students and faculty, fostering active participation in the Church's worship.
Reconciliation Services
During Advent and Lent, each grade participates in a communal Reconciliation Service, offering students an opportunity for reflection, renewal, and the celebration of God's mercy.
First Friday Adoration
On the first Friday of each month, students, faculty, and staff are invited to spend time in quiet prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, offering their personal intentions and deepening their relationship with Christ.

Retreats
Rooted in the Jesuit tradition, Fordham Prep's four-year retreat program invites students to deepen their relationship with God, build meaningful friendships, and grow as reflective leaders. Every freshman begins his Prep journey with the overnight Freshman Retreat, a formative experience led by trained upperclassmen who welcome and accompany the newest members of our community. Throughout all four years, students have opportunities to participate in optional three-day retreats that encourage prayer, reflection, and community. The hallmark of the program is the Emmaus Retreat during junior year, one of Fordham Prep's most cherished traditions, with more than 90% of juniors choosing to participate each year.
Leadership & Social Justice Opportunities
At Fordham Prep, students are invited to lead by serving others. Through a variety of leadership and justice initiatives, students deepen their faith, develop leadership skills, and put Catholic Social Teaching into action while helping to shape the spiritual and social life of the school.
