 Alumni Engagement

Over 470 alumni returned to Fordham Prep last Saturday for a great day (and night) of laughter, camaraderie and good cheer with some of their oldest and dearest friends.  We're delighted you got to see all the great things going on at the Prep.

If you took a campus tour, you saw the capital improvements made to the Prep since your last reunion.  Our strategic plan, called "Igniting Our Mission" has been the inspiration behind the Rowen Athletic Field, Joe Fox Track, Donnie Walsh Court, our beautiful new chapel, lobby and student group study area and our plans to develop a counseling center and improve faculty and administrative work areas.  Perhaps you also met some of our Student Ambassadors and witnessed the excellence the Prep develops in the minds and hearts of our young men.

We hope you'll continue to stay connected with the Prep and attend some upcoming events -- the Wall Street Forum & Luncheon on May 1,  the Prep's 23rd Annual Golf & Tennis Outing at Quaker Ridge Golf Club on June 12 or our next Regional Alumni get together in Boston on May 10.

To commemorate your reunion, if you haven't already done so, please consider supporting your fellow Rams -- students who could not attend the Prep today without tuition assistance.  Donations to individual class scholarships and the Prep's Annual Fund invest in recruiting an outstanding faculty, expanding sports and campus ministry programs and global education.

Fordham Prep and its traditions clearly continue to be an important part of the lives of our alumni.  We hope you know that the Prep will always be your home.  A reunion highlight for many who attended the mass at the University Church was  Bill Reilly's '68 Communion Reflection about his days at the Prep.  Due to the overwhelming response to Bill's message, we are reprinting it here along with the video of his remarks.

We have also included a photo gallery of reunion highlights. We're sure you'll see many familiar faces.  Finally, check the list of winners for our individual class raffles. The commemorative Fordham Prep steins will be shipped to our lucky winners next week.

We hope to see you again soon. Go Rams!
