Gonzaga Scholarship
Aloysius Gonzaga is an Italian Jesuit known for his courage in serving the sick and his dedication to the education of young students. In his name, we honor the sacrifice of your parents and first responders everywhere with this award. Sons of First Responders (active duty police officers, firefighters, and paramedics) admitted to Fordham Prep are eligible for a yearly monetary award of up to $5,000. Note that this scholarship is awarded during the admissions process to incoming students.
Seton Scholarship
The Saint Elizabeth Seton Scholarship is named in honor of New York native Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton who was an educator and founder of the country’s parochial school system. Sons of Catholic School Educators (elementary, middle, and high schools) admitted to Fordham Prep are eligible for a yearly monetary award of up to $5,000. Note that this scholarship is awarded during the admissions process to incoming students.
George Jackson '76 Scholarship
Named in honor of George Jackson ‘76, former president of Motown Records and past Fordham Prep Trustee who passed away in 2000, the George Jackson Initiative (GJI) was born in response to the racial injustices and civil unrest that occurred during the summer of 2020. The George Jackson ‘76 Scholarship seeks to support the matriculation of students to Fordham Prep who identify as Black. Students are also invited to participate in the George Jackson Mentoring Program. Note that this scholarship is awarded during the admissions process to incoming students.
