about Fordham Prep

Fordham Prep and Fordham University are two separate legal entities.

Fordham Prep has a very close relationship with Fordham University, our neighbors on the Rose Hill Campus. Qualified seniors may take classes at the University and use their library for research. Many athletic teams use the University’s NCAA Division I facilities. School-wide Masses are also held in the historic Fordham University Church.

Fordham Prep is accessible by Metro-North, NYC bus, subway, and parkways. The Fordham and Botanical Garden stops of Metro-North are directly accessible by the Harlem and New Haven lines coming from the north or south. Hudson Line travelers must switch at the Harlem-125th Street to a northbound train to access these stations. The BX9 and BX12 busses both stop on Fordham Road directly outside the campus gates. The BX19 bus stops outside the campus gate on Southern Boulevard. The D Train and 4 subway lines both stop at Fordham Road. Our campus is a short walk east from both on Fordham Road. Our campus is less than one mile from exit 7W on the Bronx River Parkway (coming from either the north or south).

Our average class size is 21 students. This does not include classes that have 10 students or less.
