Students travelling from communities along the Metro-North train lines can take the Harlem, New Haven, or Hudson Line. There are two stops within walking distance to campus: Fordham and Botanical Garden	Students can take the D or 4 train to Fordham Road. From here, take the short walk to campus or transfer to the bus for drop-off right at the campus gate.	Both the BX9 and BX12 buses stop at the entrance to the historic Rose Hill campus on Fordham Road. Plan your bus route using the MTA planning tool.	Fordham Prep helps to facilitate shuttle service from Manhattan’s Upper West side for a separate fee to and from the Prep each school day. Shuttle service is based on yearly demand and may not always run.	Students may commute to Fordham Prep by car and are permitted to purchase a monthly parking pass from Fordham University for access to the lot at the main entrance. The Rose Hill campus driving entrance is 8/10 of a mile off exit 7W (Fordham Road) off the Bronx River Parkway.

Cost of Transportation

OMNY Cards

Fordham Prep students who live in one of the five boroughs of New York City are eligible for student OMNY cards.

Metro-North

Learn more about how to purchase tickets on the MTA’s website. Students that commute via Metro-North are eligible to take part in the Mail & Ride School Commutation program and receive a discount on their monthly train pass.

Parking Fees

Fordham Prep uses the Fordham University parking lot located at the main entrance of the Rose Hill Campus for visitors and various events. Students that wish to drive must purchase a monthly pass to park in this lot. There is no parking at the Prep building for students.

Fordham Prep students who live in New York City are eligible to receive OMNY card student discounts through the New York City Department of Education. These are distributed directly to students at the beginning of the academic year. Students that commute via Metro-North are also eligible for a discount on their train pass.

Enrolled students will receive communication in the summer months about applying for discounts. Students should work with Ms. Porco in the Office of the Principal for both OMNY and Metro-North.
