Social Studies
Fordham Prep’s Social Studies curriculum explores Western civilization alongside the histories, cultures, and ideas of other regions, while developing students’ ability to think critically and draw conclusions from primary and secondary sources.
Through engaging coursework such as research projects, mock trials, and collaborative activities, students build analytical skills within a rigorous academic program. The department also emphasizes cultural awareness, tolerance, and preparation for active, thoughtful participation in the modern world, guided by the Jesuit ideal of being men for others.
