White Plains, NY is a very diverse community with 35 different neighborhoods. The population is just shy of 60,000 as of the 2020 U.S. Census, but city government officials estimate the daytime weekday population to be about 250,000. This is due to the many companies that have their headquarters in White Plains, such as Nine West Group, ITT Corporation, Nokia, and Heineken, USA.

At the Rose Hill campus of Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx, the population increases by 950 every school day. Our diverse student body comes from all around the local area, including nearly 50 percent from Westchester County. There are Advanced Placement courses in 21 different subjects. Ninety-six percent of our faculty members have an advanced degree. We also invite students to enjoy the 70 clubs and activities or 18 sports teams. Our students are well-prepared for both college and life in the Jesuit Catholic tradition.
