Rye, NY is noted for its vast waterfront, which consists of 60 percent of the city’s six square miles. There are also two National Historic Landmarks of note: former chief justice of the United States John Jay’s childhood home, Jay Estate, and Playland, an amusement park that features the Dragon Coaster, one of the oldest wooden roller coasters in the northeast United States.

Fordham Preparatory School is a college preparatory Jesuit Catholic high school located on the beautiful and historic Rose Hill campus in the Bronx. We have students from Rye here, and in fact about 43 percent of the 950 students are from somewhere in Westchester County. Our mission is to form leaders in faith, scholarship, and service through a college preparatory education in the Catholic Jesuit tradition. There are 21 Advanced Placement courses available, and 18 sports to participate in. There’s always something for our students to do on campus! Finally, both scholarships based on merit and financial aid based on need are available.
