Junior Honored with Multiple Literary Awards

It has been a busy and wildly successful March for junior James Cordingley.  Not only has he continued to excel in his studies after being awarded General Excellence in his freshman and sophomore years, and helping to lead the annual Freshman Retreat.  James can now call himself and award winning writer.

In the span of two weeks, James has been awarded a Silver Medal in the Science Fiction and Fantasy category in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.  The SAWA is the nation's longest running program that recognizes creative teens.  He followed that up with being awarded the Brown University Book Award which is awarded to a junior who exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.

James' work has also been featured in the Prep's literary magazine, Labyrinth.

Congratulations to James on his outstanding achievements.
