Six alumni returned for Fordham Prep's Young Alumni Panel in Leonard Theatre to give advice to juniors and seniors.
Led by Computer Science department Chairperson Thomas Noone and Assistant Director of Technical Operations and Computer Science teacher Danielli Antoniou, a group of students enjoyed an hour of fun holiday-themed coding and iSTEAM problem-solving.
Local food banks across the U.S. collectively received 514,797 pounds of food from 18 Jesuit schools as Fordham Prep takes fourth place in the friendly, but spirited holiday food drive competition.
Over 1000 individuals donated food, resources, time, and effort to support the Prep’s Catholic Jesuit mission and live out the call to be “men and women for others”.
Through the generosity of the ATA Foundation, this marks the second year that the Prep has awarded three scholarships for students from a pool of diverse candidates interested in pursuing a college degree in STEM subjects.
A return of home games back to campus made for a busy and successful Fall season at the Prep.
"Vin loved the foundation that he received on campus, spiritually and academically. Every time he spoke of his time at Rose Hill, it was glowing,” said Mr. Edward White, trustee of the estate of Vin Scully ‘44.
Fordham Prep has announced that Anthony I. Day will serve as the school’s 37th president beginning on July 15, 2023.
This year, three additional Jesuit schools were added to the mix, bringing the contest to 18 contenders.
Iori's service work with Scouts BSA is in addition to the Christian Service requirement at Fordham Prep that he fulfilled in order to graduate in June 2022.
