The city of New Rochelle, NY, or “New Ro” as some call it, is a very diverse community. Similarly, you’ll find a very diverse group of young men at Fordham Preparatory School. Slightly more than 43 percent of the 950 students are from Westchester County, including New Rochelle. Fordham Preparatory School was started in 1841 and provided the opportunity for young men to grow academically and spiritually. Here, students are taught that every human being was made in the image of God, and are therefore equals, no matter anything else. Although students are encouraged to discuss things seriously with peers, they are taught to spot injustice and act on it too.

Fordham Preparatory school has Advanced Placement courses available in 21 subjects, and 96 percent of our 79 faculty members have an advanced degree. There’s plenty of things to do outside of school hours too, with more than 60 clubs and activities to join, and 41 athletic teams in 18 sports.
