Our Mission

Fordham Prep's mission is to form leaders in faith, scholarship, and service through a college preparatory education in the Catholic Jesuit tradition.

We strive to develop men of conscience, compassion, and action.

What Makes a Fordham Prep Education?

Development of the
Whole Person

Fordham Prep stresses the development of excellence in the whole person: intellectual, religious, social, emotional, and physical. Cura personalis requires balancing high standards with deep empathy and support for the whole person.

Our Jesuit Identity

Rigorous Study

At the heart of Jesuit education is the rigorous study of the humanities and sciences, grounded in the conviction that intellectual growth and formation of character go hand in hand. Students are challenged to think deeply, ask difficult questions, and pursue their interests with purpose. Our individualized approach to course placement gives students space to grow in our curriculum and allows them to go further in subjects that inspire them. Dedicated faculty, counselors and administrators ensure that each student is known, supported and encouraged to reach his full potential.

A Brotherhood for Life

The friendships formed at Fordham Prep become part of a lifelong network. Our students become part of a diverse and talented group of young men who challenge, support, and inspire one another—and that bond continues long after graduation. Across generations, the Long Maroon Line remains strong, with alumni returning to Rose Hill, mentoring young Rams, and helping them find their way in college, careers, and life.
