February 27, through March 14, 1999
A team record--four athletes compete at the State Champs. Lloyd
Nolan and Steve Piacente make Fordham Prep the ONLY team in the State with two vaulters at
the State meet, Deric Zaphire is the second Prep runner to medal on the Indoor
Intersectional medlay, and Daryn Johnson runs in his 4th State Championship 3200m run.
On March 6th, Lloyd Nolan upped his PR (and school record) to 14'6" by winning
the elite Pole Vault competition known as Masters of the Pole Vault. Congrats
to these fine athletes, who earned 3 Championship medals.
