This is a great time of the season. The hard work begins to pay off just before the big Championship meets. Daryn Johnson put himself in the top 5 on the East Coast with his blistering time in the 800 meters. Dave Fernandez cracked the Prep's all time top ten Mile run list. Steve Piacente put a scare into the league with the second best Prep Vault ever--12'6". The team stands poised to strike at the Jesuits and Sectionals this weekend. 50 medals were won.

Track Notes
- After a frustrating 1st half of the season, Sophomore Corey Robinson finally broke through to win this week's MIP--must be those half miles. Special mention to Soph Steve Caruso for his sprint PRs, and to Junior Steve Piacente who is fast moving among the best vaulters in the metro area.
