place 4th at McQuaid!
Frosh get more under 9 and 10 minutes!
September 27, 1997
The Varsity traveled to Rochester for the
9th straight year, and in the seeded race for only the 2nd time,
placed 4th just 4 points behind last year's state champion. The
Frosh and JV had some big PRs as the team grabbed 18 medals and 6 T-shirts.

Cross Country Notes
- The MIP Award this week goes to the entire Soph
squad which registered PRs across the board at the
Xavier meet. Add in the fine races of Van Metter, O'Keefe and
Raguso and you have the formula for an upset at the Soph
Sectional champs on October 14th. Spaecial manetion to Frosh Mike
Burke and Craig Wood for their fine PRs, and to Tom McCabe and
Yuli Choi for breaking the10 and 11 minute barriers.
