Johnson and Matthews
"Represent" at States!

March 7, 1998
Daryn Johnson and Jamaal Matthews made the Prep proud as its representatives at the State Track and Field Championships at the Carrier Dome. Johnson finished 11th in the 2 mile and was the 1st finisher from a City School, Matthews narrowly missed making the semi-final, but was one of the top Juniors at the Meet. Based on these performances, the coming outdoor season holds great promise.
