In 1959 Joe McGovern and Norbert Sander led the Prep to the Sectional title on their way to the City Championships that year. Few would have imagined that would be the Prep's last such crown. The 1997 harriers reclaimed history with their convincing sectional victory on Saturday. Four runners broke the 14:00 barrier, and the Varsity times place us among the top 3 teams in the city. Stay tuned for more drama. 42 medals were won.

Cross Country Notes
-Robert Mitchell gets MIP for his hard work in making the A team, then going out and proving he belongs there. Special mention goes out to the Frosh B squad which had a tremendous day at the sectionals.
