Cross Country Newsletter ’94                                                                                                    November 5, 1994

Displaying the depth and power that will be a part of the Fordham tradition for at least the next two years, the Sophomores and Freshmen had a successful City Championship.  The Sophs earned four all- star spots and a third place plaque, and the Freshmen took 8th out of 32 schools while getting their fifth and sixth runners under the 10 minute barrier.  17 medals takes us over 200 (204) with two meets to go.

XC Notes

- For the third week in a row, Freshmen share the MIP.  Jason Brown and Stafford Davis improved dramatically to capture the honors at the cities.  Special mention to John Giacinto for his sub-10, and to Brendan Moroney for becoming the 4th Prep Soph to break 14:40 this year- and the first of four All Stars.
