Indoor Track Newsletter March 11, 1995
Capping off a record-breaking Indoor season, the Prep competed at the Mayor’s Trophy meet and the State Federation Championships. Captain Robert Weitzman continued to anchor his name among the elite in the northeast with a 3rd Place State ranking, and the 800 Meter Relay broke a 19-year old school standard. The team as a whole shattered the indoor school record for medals won by taking home no less than 367 prizes- far surpassing the 91-92 record of 301.

Track Notes
- In the past 15 years, the most runners the Prep has ever had under 24 seconds for the 200 meters was two. This year, the Prep established its reputation as one of the best sprint squads in the city with no less than five runners under the elite barrier. Thus the season-ending MIP goes to Juniors Gordon Lewis, Jason Macias, Eric Sands, and Robert Weitzman.
