Track Notes

-Among the many quality PRs this week was a rash of improvement from the less-heralded Freshman ranks. Rookies Robert Sankey, Jon Crawford, and Ben Dunford have put in the work day after day and begin reaping the rewards this weeks- among those rewards, the MIP

-Special congratulations to the Soph 800 Relay of Charles Baserap, Luid Irizarry, Uche Akwuba, and Rodger Emmanuel for their determination in capitulating a 17 year-old school record.

-When Jason Brown broke the Freshman 600 meter record two months ago there were whispers that it was a “soft” record, and this was probably true. Such aspersion no longer hold waster as Mr. Brown shattered his mark by a full four seconds. Congratulations on a bona fide record.

-Also congrats to Todd Young for his hard-won third CHSAA Championship medal.
