Cross Country Newsletter   ’93                 November 20, 1993

The 1993 Cross Country Season came to an end on Saturday with

one the oldest meets in the New York area – the Jesuit

Championships.   The Prep responded well to the traditionally

fierce competition by setting a new school record for medals won

in one season.    The 16 garnered set the record at 224 – 20 more

than the 1991 squad.   Such record setting bodes well for the

upcoming indoor campaign.

XC Notes

- The Final week’s MIP is admittedly a shameless bribe to

convince two fine runners to reconsider their winter plans.  For the time being however, we’ll wish them luck.  Soph Dan Rodriguez and Frosh Dave Holze are the deserving defectors.
