NB
- At MAC meet, runners in top 3 were counted as medal winners
-
Since this week’s races were new to most runners ther were few PRs, but that
doesn’t mean that great performances were few.
MIP Jim Purekal showed true grit in winning his heat of the 600
neter run. Also deserving of praise are both the A and B squads of the Freshman
1600 Meter Rekay. The A team of Chin,
Weitzman, Sosa and Fitzsimons made believers of their unbelieving opponents by
placing third in one of the toughest meets of the Indoor Season. The B boys –
Irizarry, Cocheekeran, Dengler, and Bratt hit a “grand slam” PR by having each
runner hit their personal best.
