Cross Country Newsletter ’92 September

Like versatile
thoroughbreds, the Prep harriers proved to be fine “mudders” this weekend. The 5th avenue Mile and JFK
Invitational were the venues whereby we collected 4 hard-earned medals
and displayed a willingness to endure any conditions for success.

NB. Since the JFK course differs
From the VCP course, Freshman
Times do not count as PRs.
Varsity and JV PRs are for
5,000 meters.
- On a new course and in sloppy
conditions, its difficult to discern a clear MIP. However, for leading a strong JV squad in his first 5,000m race,
Sophomore Paul Rice deserves much credit. Among the Frosh,
Mike McAuliffe was one of many standouts.
