XC Notes

-         The Most Improved Performance award (MIP) is given weekly by this newsletter to the runner who makes the most improvement on his personal best time. While nearly every runner was impressive in their seasonal debut, last years top MIP has picked up where he left off and improved by nearly one minute on his VCP time. Congrats to Mr. Nunez. Not to be overlooked are the PRs posted by captain Gerry Sullivan and nearly the entire Soph Squad.

-         One of the most striking features of this ’91 team was their dauntless approach to the VCP course. 1st time racers on the course – such as Rey Mendez, Dom Lopez, Ed Rivera and of course the Sophs and the Frosh, handled the hills like old pros.

-         Next Week: Regis Invitational  - Fink, Sullivan, Lopez, Ethridge, Nunez, Rivera, and Mendez report to prep by 8:00 am.
