Starting off the new year in tumultuous fashion, the Fordham Prep Track Team made impressive showings at two meets – and especially at the Millrose Games time trials where the Varsity 3200 Meter Relay ran the best indoor time for a Fordham team since 1969 – 8:14.2.  10 medals were collected to boot.

Track Notes

- Sophomore Mike Casey led an awesome Soph 3200 Relay under the nin-minute barrier with his 3-second PR in the 800 to earn the first MIP of the new year.  Double PRs came from Gerry Sullivan and Chris Ketcham, while Mike Fink continued his ongoing seminar in competitiveness with his 2:02.3 800.

- The Season’s 1st Ironman Award goes to Freshman Eli Miles who was called upon to run four times on Saturday and handled the task with ease and skill.
