XC Notes

-         The season’s first Most Improved Performance Award (MIP) winner is Soph Dave Gleeson.  Dave slashed more than a minute off of his VCP time in only his second time over the course.  The Freshmen squad had many improvements across the board, most significantly from Jon Lopez, who came out of nowhere to establish himself as no. 4 man on the team.

-         Coming up: Fri Oct. 4- 11 Varsity runners trek to Rochester for the McQuaid
Invitational. Van leaves from Prep at 11:00 am.
Fri. Oct. 4- All Frosh and JV runners will compete in the Iona Invitational at VCP. Bus leaves after 7th period at 2:15 pm.
