Cross Country Newsletter November 17, 1990

On Saturday, November 17th at Van Cortlandt Park, Fordham Prep brought its 1990 Cross Country campaign to a close at the Jesuit Championships. 9 medals were won, as the squad ended the season having collected 210 medals in all - 26 more than last year's record - setting total. Congratulations to all on another successful year.

XC Notes

-Winning the MIP award at the Jesuit Champs for the secon year in a row is Junior Vin Romano, who improved by 42 seconds. Must be those Spiritual Exercises.

-Finishing the season on a high note were two departing seniors- John Ferrick and Dave Deasy- whom the team would like to thank their three fine years of service to the Cross Country Program. With their quiet leadership and hard work they have been an integral part of the successful rebuilding that has occurred during their tenure. Again, thanks to these and all of the seniors for their talent and leadership as we head into our indoor season.
