As autumn finally arrived in New York (with a vengeance), the
Prep fared well in two Championship meets this week. 17 medals were
Won – pushing the season total over the 200 mark. The season concludes
On Saturday, November 17 with the Jesuit Championships.

- Junior Jim Mattice took two big steps towards breaking the 16 minute
barrier with two PR’s amounting to 26 seconds off his best time – and this week’s
MIP award.
- Coming up: Our successful season closes out on Saturday 11/17 with the
Jesuit Championships at Van Cortlandt. Our annual Pizza
Extravaganza will follow back at the Prep. The meet ends
at about 11am, so the party should go from about 12-2pm.
Everyone is asked to contribute $2.00 for the event – you
can give the money to the coaches or to the captains Ray Medina
and Steve Famularo by Thursday.
