            In another exciting Jesuit Championship Meet, the Prep grabbed second in both the Varsity and JV competitions on Saturday, May 5th at Mount St. Michael Academy.  The Team took home 16 medals to bring the spring total to 232 – already equal to last year’s total.

Track Notes

            -The Jesuit MIP is a toughie, but for coming back from nagging injuries to hit two PR’s and score in three events, Sophomore Dave Crespo takes it, narrowly over the likes of John Verlezza who lowered his 800 PR considerably.  John is the 9th Freshman to break the 2:30 barrier in the half this year.

-Coming Up:

                        Thurs. 5/9 – 3rd Annual Spring Jamboree – Van Courtland Park

                                                Prizes, snacks for all finishers

                                                -runners report to VCP by 11:00am

                        Fri. 5/10-5/11 – Nestle Loucks Games – White Plains H.S.

                        Sat. 5/11  -  Frosh/Soph City Championships – Eastchester H.S.

                                                All Freshman and Sophs report to Prep at 9:30am

                                                All Freshman and Sophs will leave at 2:45pm
