The first official meets of the indoor season took place this weekend with much success and many fine harbingers of things to come.  Nine medals were won over two meets and there were top notch performances from Frosh to Varsity.

Track Notes

For his fine double PR performances in the 1600 and 400 meter runs, Sophomore Dave Gleeson is the week’s MIP.  Other fine PR’s were run by Senior Keith Baron and Junior Vinny Romano.  Top-notch races were turned in by 1000 meter champion Rey Mendez and the sprint medley anchor by Mike Fink

Congrats to the Frosh squad for their successful debut in Indoor Track.  Among the many highlights was the Frosh Mile Relay A team whose time of 4:09.7 ranks among the best in the league.
