X-C Notes
-- This week’s MIP award goes to (yes, this is a cop-out) the entire team. The average
margin of improvement for the squad was 49 seconds. Keep it up guys. (MIP = Most
Improved Performance)
-- The combined 5-man average for the Varsity course was a blistering 15:07 – among
the tops in the league. Fordham’s lineup is as deep as anyone’s, with 9 men under the
16 minute barrier.
-- Special mention must be made of the Freshman squad, who posted a 5-man average of
10:30. By comparison, at this time last year the Freshman team had an average of
10:27 – and they went on to become a league power.
-- Coming up – 6 Varsity runners travel to
Invitational,
while the J.V. and Frosh are at V.C.P. on Friday afternoon for the
Prep X-C Meet.
