Fordham continued its rampage through the league this week with a first place finish in the Cathedral Prep Invitational and a second place finish in the New York Sectional Championships. The XC squad added, 46 medals to its season’s arsenal this week, bringing this year’s total to 145-one medal shy of last years total.

XC Notes

-This week’s MIP award goes jointly to Junior Steve Famularo and Freshman Rey Mendez. Each was a big winner this week and each improved their times twice. Other “double PR” were run by Jose Garcia, Dave Varenne, Joe Medina, Chris Cahoon, and Paul Schimmeck.

- Coming up: On Tuesday, Halloween, Fordham will run for borough bragging rights in the revived Bronx Championships. Saturday, the Frosh and Soph teams will compete in their city championships, while the Varsity is off to tale their beloved SAT exams.
