Cross Country Newsletter ’89 November 4, 1989

In the space of just fourteen days, Fordham has captured five team plaques or trophies indicating a first or second place finish. This Tuesday, a soggy Halloween, the Prep took the first place in the Bronx Championships. On Saturday, the Sophomores placed sixth in the CHSAA Championships-the highest finish for the Prep in over fifteen years. 18 medals were won, bringing the year’s total to 163!

XC Notes

- This week’s MIP award goes to Sophomore Mike Fink for his outstanding 9^th place finish in the Soph City Champs. Mike lowered his personal best time by 20 seconds in hitting a 14:25.
