-- This week’s MIP award goes to three newcomers. Sophomores Dave Varenne, Matt
George, and Vin Romano, each in their first year of running have displayed admirable
determination all season long. Their hard has paid off as each improved their PRs by
more than 30 seconds on the last day of the season.
-- Next week: The transition from Cross Country to Indoor Track is made at the Molloy
Invitational. Varsity and some Sophomores will compete.
-- Finally, the team wishes to thank all the support that has been given them by the Cross
Country Parents contingent. A simple footnote at the end of the “XC Newsletter”
cannot begin to show our true appreciation for all the efforts of the parents. Again,
Thanks.
