10/27/07 - NYCHSAA Sectional Championships - VCP

STORMIN' TO
THE TITLE Exactly 5 years ago in
2002,
the Prep won the Sectionals after having been ranked as low
as 9th in the league polls. And just as in '02, the
Prep was ranked 9th this season, and entered the sectionals
as a contender, but not a favorite to win. And as in
'02, the kids came through with convincing wins.
Add in impressive times in a torrential downpour, and you
have one of the more outstanding team performances in recent
Prep XC history. |

The JV were
mudders too, repeating as sectional champs (it was our 4th
straight) behind Chris
Cavanaugh's 1st place finish.
The Frosh ran solid as
well, placing 5th as we did last year.
