Prep ties for 5th behind Jourdan's White's 2nd HJ City Championship of the Year, becoming the first soph to win both the Indoor and Outdoor HJ title in 49 years.   Jourdan also tossed in the best LJ by a Fordham soph in 61 years with his 21'0.25" bronze.

 CHSAA medallists include Matt Keefer (400), Jon Bednarz (PV), Chris Palicka (HH), Wayne Seaton (400mIH), Andrew Hemmimgs (TJ),  and Harley Griffiths, Pat Hemsley, Mike Jennings and Zach Keefer in the 4x800m.

Where Were You in '62? 

Freshmen Bruce Grant, Frank D'Agastino, Mike Gray, Jay Kim and Coach Paul Collins '05 - the foursome broke the 45 year old Frosh 4x100m School record with a :48.04 clocking.  

The old record was set on the exact same day as today's effort! In addition to the longstanding record being set, May 19, 1962 was also the occasion of Marilyn Maonroe's somewhat embarrassing rendition of "Happy Birthday" to President JFK, and also the date Stan Musial passed Honus Wagner for the most hits ever in the National League!
In May of 1962: Mr. Gomprecht was not yet a Freshman at Fordham Prep!
