2 teams: Freshman and Varsity
CHSAA membership

The freshmen begin in September and continue to November. The Varsity season starts in October and runs through February. The team carries approximately 50 swimmers and divers, and uses the pool and diving boards in Fordham University’s Lombardi Center and pools at Lehman College Aquatic Center and Sarah Lawrence College. The team has won the CHSAA City Championship in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 & 13. The team won the New York State Federation Championship in 2011, 2012 & 13. The 2011 Fall Freshman team was 7-0, CHSAA regular season Champions, and won the 2011 CHSAA Freshmen Swimming and Diving Campionship Meet.

Moderator and Coaches

Dominick Galimi '92: Head Swimming Coach
A four-year letterman and team captain on the Fordham Prep swim team, Mr. Galimi began coaching the Prep team in 1997. After graduating from the Prep he moved on to earn an engineering degree from Lehigh University. While at Lehigh he competed for their NCAA Division I level swim team.

Greg Lau '99: Assistant Swimming Coach
Mr. Lau graduated from the Prep and from Loyola College in Maryland. He was a four-year letterman and senior captain at Fordham Prep. He went on to compete for the Loyola College Swimming Team. Greg began coaching at the Prep in 2003.

Matthew Bobo: Varsity Diving Coach
A graduate of Fordham University where he was a four-year varsity letterman and senior captain of the Fordham University Swimming & Diving Team, Mr. Bobo is currently in his twelfth year coaching the Diving Team and teaching Social Studies at Fordham Prep.

Lawrence Holten '07: Assistant Swimming Coach
A 2007 graduate from the Prep and a graduate of Lafayette College, Mr. Holten was a four-year letterman and senior captain at Fordham Prep, and began coaching at the Prep in 2011.

Michael Sledzinski '07: Assistant Swimming Coach
A 2007 graduate from the Prep and a graduate of Fordham University, Mr. Sledzinski was a four-year letterman at Fordham Prep, and began coaching at the Prep in 2011.
