Kenneth Boller, SJ

President
Fr. Boller entered the Society of Jesus in 1964. From 1969 to 1972 he taught Ma
thematics at Xavier High School in NYC; he was Dean of Co-curricular Activities from 1975 to 1978. After serving as Principal of Canisius High School in Buffalo from 1979 to 1986, he returned to Xavier as Headmaster and then President from 1988 to 1997. Fr. Boller was Pastor of St. Aloysius Church in NYC from 1997 to 2004 before coming to Fordham Prep. He continues to serve on the boards of the National Theatre Workshop of the Handicapped, the Academy of Mt. St. Ursula and the Notre Dame School. This is Father Boller’s ninth year as President of Fordham Prep.
Robert Gomprecht '65

Principal
Mr. Gomprecht attended Fordham Prep, Fordham College and Fordham Graduate School. He
returned to the Prep in 1973 as a member of the Science Department after teaching high school and middle school for four years. Over the years, he has served as moderator of Student Government, Freshman and JV Basketball coach, chairman of the Science Department, Registrar and Assistant Principal. This is Mr. Gomprecht’s nineteenth year as principal.
Dennis Ahern '63

Asst. Principal for Professional Development & Supervision
Mr. Ahern is a graduate of Fordham Prep, Fordham College and Fordham Graduate School. He
taught 8th grade in Chinatown for six years before returning to the Prep in 1974. Mr. Ahern has taught English at the Prep for 38 years, rising to the role of chair of the department. In faculty development for the past 24 years, Mr. Ahern helps all faculty extend their imaginations to help students learn, and to develop their awareness of Ignatian practices inside and outside of the classroom.
Theresa Napoli

Asst. Principal for Academics & Student Life
Mrs. Napoli attended St. Raymond’s Academy and Fordham College, and served for almost twenty years as a science teacher at The Ursuline School in New Rochelle. For the last 9 years she has served as the Director of the Higher Achievement Program (HAP), a summer program for boys entering the 8th grade. This is Mrs. Napoli’s 8th year as Assistant Principal.
Steven Pettus

Mr. Pettus has taught Social Studies for 20 years, the last 17 years at at Fordham Prep.
Christopher Lauber '79

Director of Admissions
A graduate of Fordham Prep, Mr. Lauber has taught Latin and Greek for 24 years, 20 at Fordham Prep.
Michael Lacinak

Director of Guidance & Counseling
Mr. Lacinak has been a counselor for 38 years, the last 35 at Fordham Prep.
Maura Brennan

Director of College Counseling
Ms. Brennan has overseen the college selection process at Fordham Prep for the past 9 years after working as a college admissions director for 8 years.
