Sophomore Dream Day 2013

Friday, May 17th
8:30 am – 2:30 pm in the Leonard Theatre

Sophomore Dream Day is about teaching students the importance of envisioning their futures; everything from their educational and career aspirations to their hopes about family, lifestyle and travel. Also, it is intended to help students explore the critical characteristics needed to achieve their goals including effort, persistence, optimism, resourcefulness, flexibility and a sense of humor.

Dream Day's goal is to ignite students’ imaginations, generate enthusiasm about their futures and increase their motivation to take steps right now toward making their dreams realities.

A variety of speakers will candidly share their journeys in pursuit of their dreams and what they learned along the way. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and reflect upon the relevance of what they have heard to their own goals. In addition, the boys will be inspired by multiple forms of media including live music, videos, a movie, a professional entertainer and more.

Students will be invited to dress down (standard guidelines apply), and a free lunch will be provided by the Fordham Prep Mothers' Club.
