Senior Breakfast
Thursday, April 26, 2012: 8:30 am to 10:30 am
Our Alumni Association has booked the Botanical Garden’s Terrace Room for a breakfast at 8:30 am on Thursday, April 26th, to welcome seniors to the ranks of the graduates. This is an elegant setting and one of the most sought-after catering facilities in the metropolitan region. Twenty to thirty distinguished alumni will be present and serve as hosts to the graduating class. School dress is required and all seniors must arrive at 8:30 am. Attendance will be taken and tickets (packet of four) for graduation will also be distributed at that time. Seating arrangements will be made for the breakfast. This will assist us in taking attendance and distributing the graduation tickets. The closest entrance to the Terrace Room is located opposite the Metro-North Botanical Gardens station. Since the schedule at the Botanical Gardens is tight, your son should leave extra time for travel so that he arrives at 8:30 am. Jacket and tie are required. Due to space limitations this event is for Prep Seniors only; it does not include other family members.
Senior-Parent-Faculty Mass, Awards Assembly and Dinner
Monday, May 14, 2012: 5:30 pm
Mass will begin at 5:30 pm in the University Church, followed by an awards assembly required for all seniors. Dinner (optional) will follow. Attendance is limited, due to room size, to the Prep senior and two adults, and the cost is $40.00 per person. Gathering for liturgy and sharing a meal with your son and his classmates is a warm way to celebrate the culmination of four years at the Prep.

Graduation Rehearsal
Wednesday, May 23, 2012: 9:30 am
All seniors must assemble at the Prep for rehearsal and picking up tuxedos to wear that evening. Dress is casual. Yearbooks will be distributed in the Commons after rehearsal.
Graduation
Wednesday, May 23, 2012: 4:30 pm
The ceremony, held in Fordham University’s Rose Hill Gym, will begin at 4:30 pm sharp. Seniors must report to the Prep, in tuxedos, by 3:45 pm.
Tuxedo measurements will be held on Friday, April 20th and Tuesday, May 1st in the Hall of Honor. If your son is not measured he will need to visit the store which is located in Ridgewood, New Jersey (201) 444-2722 in order to get measured. Your sons’ tuxedo is already paid for, and consists of a white dinner jacket, black tuxedo pants and maroon bow tie. You will be required to provide a plain white dress shirt (no tuxedo shirts) and provide black dress shoes to complete the dress for graduation.
Admission requires a ticket (packet of four tickets will be distributed to seniors at the Senior Breakfast on April 26th). As you know, seating is limited. Graduation is primarily for family, and we ask that you appropriately restrict tickets. If you have extra tickets, please return them to Mrs. O’Halloran. If you need additional tickets, please request them in writing from Mrs. O’Halloran, and we will redistribute any tickets which have been returned after April 26th.
We want to make the graduation an enjoyable and dignified event. Please remind your guests that despite the gymnasium setting, this is the graduation ceremony of one of the most prestigious metropolitan area high schools. Appropriate dress and behavior is expected.
