Thank you for attending our 175th Anniversary Dinner dance last Wednesday night at La Sirena.
The Cabana Room was filled with a fantastic mix of current, past, and future parents, along with alumni ranging from the classes of 1960 through 2001, which speaks to the special commitment and life-long connections alumni and parents have with Fordham Prep. By investing in our future -- through your support of the Endowment Fund for tuition and scholarship assistance -- you have helped ensure that the Prep will remain a bastion of faith, scholarship, and service for the next 175 years.
As Fr. Devron said in his remarks last night, the "Prayer of Generosity", recited daily by our students, truly speaks to all of us:
Lord, teach me to be generous,
to serve you as you deserve,
to give and not to count the cost,
to fight and not to heed the wounds,
to toil and not to seek for rest,
to labor and not to look for any reward,
save that of knowing that I do your will.
Without your time, talent, and financial support, Fordham Prep would not be able to sustain its level of excellence -- in the classroom, at service sites, on the athletic fields and in global immersion programs around the world. Thank you for your extraordinary generosity.
We also hope you enjoy our photo gallery, with some highlights from the dance floor! We've also included Fr. Devron's remarks in this message.
As we wind down our 175th anniversary year, we look forward to next month's Golf and Tennis Outing at Quaker Ridge Golf Club and the Founder's Day Mass and Reception at University Church and the Prep. We hope to see you there.
