The new web site is designed to allow you to log onto www.brooklynprep.org without a user name or password and catch up on the latest news, photographs and videos about the Prep.
If you wish to obtain contact information about a classmate or update your own information you will still be required to log onto the secured area of the site. This area should look familiar as it will link you to the original BPAA database. This is required solely to protect the privacy of our Alumni's personal information.
New Features:
- Under the NEWS section you will find a drop down for Memorials announcing the loss of a fellow Alumnus.
- On the HOME page you will find a box announcing the date of the Upcoming Annual Dinner. If you click on the box you will be directed to a form that will allow you to purchase tickets online.
- Under ReUnions you will find Ticket Sales which will allow you to purchase tickets and pay your annual dues online.
- A Centennial Dinner section has been added to allow Alumni that were not able to attend the event to participate online. You will find stories, photos and videos of the speeches give by distinguished Alumni. Don't miss it! It is a highlight of the new site.
- On the Home page you will find a box labelled Linkedin. If you click on this box you will be linked to the social networking site Linkedin. Go to the Groups area on the site and look up BPAA - After providing your email address you will be invited to join the BPAA group. This link replaces the bulletin board section of the old site.
- Under Alumni you will find a section Pay my Annual Dues Online for your convenience.
- Under Scholarships a Ways to Give section has been added. This section describes the many ways that Alumni can continue helping needy students obtain a Jesuit education.
- Also in the Scholarship section Letters from Recipients and Videos from Recipients have been added. These are clear examples of the way the BPAA has been able to make a difference. The video portion of this section has not yet been completed.
- In the Scholarship section you will find a Financial Reporting and Charitable Status sections providing up to date information about the Rev John D Alexander SJ Endowment Fund.
- Under the Scholarship section you will find the Make a Donation Online Now dropdown which will allow you to make a contribution online.
- Access to the photos and stories accumulated over the years are still available. Go to Contact Info then BPAA Database and you will be linked to the old BPAA site. You may update you information and view many of the wonderful photos, stories and links.
- In the Alumni section BPAA Statistics has been added which provides information about the BPAA membership.
- Under Alumni the Future Honoree Suggestions has been added. The Board of the BPAA is always searching for Alumni that demonstrate in their personal lives the true ideals of a Christian life. Please help by forwarding information on candidates you think merit consideration.
- In the Alumni section we have included a section for Lost Sheep. This is a listing of Alumni with whom we have lost contact. If you know of the whereabouts of any of these Alumni, please send whatever information you have to

- BP Movie - this is a full length documentary produced by Carl Pinarro '71
- Last YearBook - this is a 63 page final YearBook created for the Centennial Dinner

- In the Help section you will find the contact information for our volunteer WebStaff who stand ready to help in guiding you through the site. In additional you will find a FAQ's section that will hopefully address many of your concerns.
