Track Notes

- Once in a while a runner turns in a MONSTER PR. This week, Freshman Rodger Emmanuel is the culprit with his impressive, come-from-behind, victorious :55.9 anchor in the mile Relay. Thus, “the monster” MIP. Following close behind in the monster category is Basil Cocheekaran’s 15 second mile PR, and Rich Hinman’s 11 second PR in the same event. Special mention to Isaac Daniels’ .9 improvement over the barriers, and Ed Strata’s “stratospheric” (I couldn’t resist) 20-foot PR with the disc. Finally, the team MIP has to be the 4-PR performance of the Varsity Mile Relay of Weitzman, Saunders, Guerrero, and Smith.
